9.a. On the way from Phnom Penh to Pursat
Today there are two entries.
a.
Friday morning.
Kompong Chnang was supposed to be the first place outside Phnom Penh on our itinerary. It was. But it is not any more.
The bus did not stop in Kompong Chnang!
Only 5 km outside the town centre did we realize that the driver must have forgotten about us. We had a choice to wait in the steaming heat for a bus going back or to stay on.
We did stay on. We got to Pursat.
The whole route was about 200 km. We covered it in 5 hours.
It was worth the sights!
