8. Museum of Genocide and The Killing Fields
Not all tourists want to see the places of torture and execution of thousands of people during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.
In the years 1975 - 1979 were killed, died of starvation or exhaustion about 3 millions of Cambodians. This was done by other Cambodians!
Places we visited are to honor the fallen and are warning that this could happen in any nation!
Poles also experienced this yet.
To those interested we recommend Wikipedia. The Killing Fields Museum Cambodia and Phnom Penh Museum of Genocie.
About the book and feature film we have already mentioned.
We went there out of respect for the nation who had lost 25% of its citizens and more than 75% of the educated people. Also in respect to the great determination to the nation who arerebuilding their country.
A na dalszy ciag podróży życze znacznie weselszych punktów programu:)
