Half Moon Bay
We are on an excursion in Half Moon Bay, a town by the Pacific, which has been famous of alcohol smuggling during the times of the prohibition. The hidden bay and almost always present dense fog, made the blameworthy dealings easier.
On a sunless day the Pacific looks especially dangerous and unfriendly. Only those big seals are lounging lazily on the beach. Nobody is bothering them. Sweet fatties.
Some time ago there was a hotel in the place of the national park. The owner had planted hundreds od cypresses which grew into a dark forest.
