Crete revisited

In October 22, we were in Crete, escaping the atmosphere of the pandemic in our country. We visited the eastern part of the island and rested in a beautiful hotel resort in Hersonisos. It is worth taking a look at the entries from almost three years ago, where we saw, among others, the places where the events of "Greek Myths" took place.

Now we are escaping to Crete from the probable cold Polish "May Days" with the hope that the western part of the island will allow us to enjoy the spring of southern Europe, as the western coast is known for its picturesque landscapes, wonderful beaches and wildlife.

We are going to be there:

"Crete (Greek: Κρήτη, from the word krateia – strong, Latin: Creta, Turkish: Kirid, Ven.: Candia) – a Greek island in the Mediterranean Sea. The largest island in Greece and the fifth largest Mediterranean island in terms of area. The coastline is approximately 1,040 km long. The largest city and seat of government is Heraklion (Iraklion). (...)

Crete is one of the administrative regions of Greece, within which 4 regional units can be distinguished: Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion and Lasithi."

From Warsaw we are flying to Chania, and from there they will take us to a hotel on the western edge of the island...

In a moment we will be among the Mediterranean greenery...
