Review of the show about couriers

I am sure that the hundred viewers who participated (quite actively) in the performance "Delivery heroes. Takeaway heroes" left the theater with a surprising knowledge of what the everyday life of young couriers delivering meals to order looks like.

And their everyday life is simply very difficult. Working in a corporation that inhumanely exploits young people who do not have many options when looking for a job, is extremely difficult.

A courier with a large backpack, on foot, on a scooter, on a bike (with or without electricity), and sometimes on a motoscooter - this is a common sight on our streets. We do not wonder what this job looks like "from the inside".

The performance gives a true picture of how couriers are treated by employers, restaurateurs, and customers themselves. This is not a positive and edifying image.

With phones in hand (we received them from the staff) with a special application, we could be part of the performance by executing commands, choices and decisions on the phone.

The young actors played their roles extremely realistically, convincingly and with passion. They managed to evoke emotions in the audience that will change their perception of this type of difficult work.

The actors – representatives of corporations and employers showed their ruthlessness in treating their subordinates, and the clients – receiver of orders, confirmed their bad attitude (of course not all of them) and sense of superiority towards these young people who earn very little.

Poles and foreigners from almost all over the world work in this business which is another reason for the disrespectful treatment of couriers.

Most couriers certainly deserve the title of "takeaway heroes"!
