And so New Year's Eve came and our event which included a show, dinner during the intermission, and a New Year's toast with the actors.
The evening began at 9:00 p.m.
An excellent buffet dinner with Thai food (including vegetarians and vegans) lasted 30 minutes, and the performance itself ended 5 minutes before midnight.
The fifth show in Warsaw (in four theaters) turned out to be a great summary of our cultural attractions in the Capital.
Our opinion and assessment of this performance is below the text about the theater itself and the description of the show.
ABOUT THE THEATRE:
Potem-o-tem - an independent Warsaw theater operating since March 2016. It is located at ul. Nowolipki 2/2a.
"The group was established by a group of young Warsaw artists who, at the beginning of their artistic careers, decided to create their own stage, on which they could create theater that they themselves would like to see.
The theater is not permanently associated with any institution by program. Most of his performances are performed in spaces that were not previously associated with theatre, such as a garage, a private apartment, a coach, a historic palace, a tenement house or a small art gallery.”

In an unspecified land, it is not known when, a certain society has decided to hold a referendum establishing a new order regarding citizens’ access to pornography. The play presents the fates of five characters entangled in this incomprehensible turmoil of erotic and social complications.
"Believe me..." is a story about why it is so difficult for us to talk about sex and everything related to it. It is a musical attempt to crush one of the most deeply rooted taboos in us.
"Believe me, there will be NO PORN" is the premiere of a perverse libretto by Marcin Zbyszyński with the licentious music of Filip Grycmacher in a bawdy performance by artists from the Potem-o-tem theater.
The play is not only intended for adult viewers, high school teenagers are welcome. "BELIEVE US, THERE WILL BE NO PORN!".
As it was written in the Theater's presentation, a group (here five) of young Warsaw artists took part in the play, who proved that good acting skills, commitment, great vocals and good lyrics guarantee success.
We had a great time, and the acting and message of the play convinced us of the qualities of Potem-o-tem theatre.
It was a very good New Year's Eve!!
