Flying off to get some warmth
To get away from our European cold in December, one has to get a little tired first ...
Well, the flight from Berlin to Monastir in Tunisia is admittedly short (just over 2 hours), but the waiting is much longer, though.
A two hours' delay, and first waiting in a long queue for check-in. In this pre-Christmas time it seems that all (?) Tunisians decided to return home with their whole families.
The aircdaft got filled to the last seat. A lot of noise on board. The children cried, screamed and made noise, and the adults gave the impression that everyone knew each other because they talked loudly from a distance. Maybe they are from the same village, and they probably have a lot to tell each other.
Most importantly, they looked happy.
We were little less happy, as it was the tenth hour of our journey from Szczecin and we were a bit wasted.
The transfer to the hotel took a half-hour bus ride.
Just before midnight we got a drink at the bar which would close then. Thus we have the "all inclusive" version.
Tomorrow there will be some more photos, and today I have attached the morning view from the balcony.
