After our film holidays in Kazimierz Dolny we returned to the cultural events of Szczecin. Since yesterday (7.08.) until 08.09, in the beautiful gallery of the Szczecin Philharmonic you can see an exhibition of paintings by Cyprian Nocoń.
This young artist was born in 1991. He defended his diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice in the field of painting.
"The Festival of Polyphony is a series of paintings by Cyprian Nocoń depicting musicians. At first glance, we notice the movement of the characters, jerking strings, the conductor's gesture. In a literary way we can say that music can be heard in these paintings. As the artist himself emphasizes, he does not interpret any musical works. His paintings are the fruit of the image observed during concerts of a symphony orchestra. "
The pleasant atmosphere at the opening and artistic impressions prompted us to go to a bar for a few small "shots".
