Sunny Sunday
On a sunny (not necessarily warm) May day, nature enjoys itself along with us!
The cotinus grows its leaves stained with intense purple colour and it climbs up.
"Cotinus - a genus of plants belonging to the nanander family, it includes only 4 species. They come from Eurasia and North America. The typical species is Cotinus coggyria Scop."
Our cherry lairel smells attracting beautiful insects.
"Eastern laurel, eastern laurel, laurel, laurel plum - a species of perennial plant from the rose family. It comes from the Balkan Peninsula, the Caucasus and Asia Minor."
A beautiful insect with a difficult name enjoys life on our bush:
"Hawk-thistle - a species of beetle from the family of the paternalis and the subfamilies of the cricket beetles. It occurs in Central Europe and Asia Minor. It reaches the body length up to 18-20 mm.
The Hawk beetle is one of the most beautiful beetles in our geographical latitude. One of the entomologists called it a flying gold nugget, which quite succinctly reflects the name combining the word ore and gold."
