Bicylce Sunday
The bicycle sunday took us to Trzebież.
"Trzebież" (until 1945 German: Ziegenort) is a village in Poland located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Police Poviat, in the Police commune. It belongs to the Szczecin agglomeration. Physicogeographical the village is located on the Policka Plains in the Lower Oder Valley on the banks of the Szczecinski Lagoon, at the mouth of the Oder, on the edge of the Wkrzańska Forest, approx. 35 km north of the center of Szczecin, 14 km from the center of Police, and approx. 14 km east of border with Germany."
We rode a total of 33 km on a beautiful route through the forest, on an asphalted fire-fighting road, so no car traffic.
In Trzebież, both at the marina and in the beach area there were very few tourists. There were no amateurs for this type of relaxation at a temperature of about 10 C in a strong wind. We were protected by the forest, though.
The "Nad Zalewem" restaurant, thankfully, was open, and saved us from the loss of energy - fish soup and Czech (!) beer allowed us to happily return to the parking lot, to the car.
