The last stop of our trip around the massif of the Bokor Mountain was at the highest elevation (1060 m above sea level) where there are some temples and a small Buddhist monastery.
From the observation platform we could see the port city of Sihanoukville (now 100% mastered by the Chinese) and the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, taken over from Cambodia after the intervention of Vietnam in 1979.
Phu Quc is the largest and most beautiful island of Vietnam. It is 4 km from the border of Cambodia!! And far from Vietnam!!!
We were lucky that the sky was cloudless. Very often this place is above the clouds and it is cold there and you cannot see much!
