The days after
Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, birthday - this is history.
We are returning to our Khmer everyday life, which is sometimes funny and sometimes annoying.
Proverbs tell the truth; If you do not like what you like, then ...
or
If you can not change others, change yourself!
It's a bit difficult, but we try to "adapt".
From today it's going to be cold for three days! 24 - 26. It's really cold riding on the motorcycle! And at night you have to cover yourself!
Visitors appear and disappear, and we look at our business from a distance and slowly draw conclusions from our action here.
May we be healthy!
Cambodian weddings take place regularly in the immediate vicinity of our house. The degree of affluence of families can be seen by the size of tents, the size of the scene on which unknown stars appear. We know that these are huge costs that can absorb the achievements of life, unless the invited guests compensate by spending envelopes. I've already written about it.
We are invited to the wedding of our friend's sister Sophia. It will take place this weekend (2 - 3 days) in a village at a distance of 80 km from us. I was going to document the whole event, but unfortunately we will not be able to logically and logistically reach there and stay for two nights.
Today, snapshots from the wedding "in the neighborhood".
