A house with a view
Work behind the bar and in the kitchen in the bistro open for 12 hours a day does not allow for city tours beyond the necessary trips for shopping. And these lately have not been too frequent and distant.
Our attraction is some talks with expats who (on rare occasions) come to us for a small bite.
Those conversations, often lasting several hours, provide us with invaluable knowledge about life in Cambodian society. Thanks to them, we learn at an accelerated pace about what we would like to know, and it would take too much time to collect our own experience.
Certainly, making decisions about our future in Cambodia will largely depend on what, not only we, but the others as well, think about life and work in this country.
And there is a lot to talk about.
Smoking rubbish in front of households is one of the forms of getting rid of them.
I must remind you that our president A.D. stated that Poland has an advanced garbage segregation system: for flammable and non-flammable waste !!
No too funny, is it?
Here, too, we are occasionally bothered by the smoke of burning rubbish!
Without leaving the Chameleon we get to watch unwanted bonfires. However, this time it's only some waste wood. (Only?)
Without leaving the Chameleon we get to watch the guys working in the workshop vis-a-vis sleeping in bunk beds under the roof of their own construction. The banging sheet does not bother them, and by repairing the roof they uncovered the wall from the side of our garden !!
Without leaving the Chameleon I can take pictures of passing motorcyclists and mobile shops. The latter, when passing by, notify us by ringing bells. It’s a very nice "noise".
We have fun here, don’t we?
Nie płonie ? - Płonie. W lesie ?
TEŻ KU PAMIĘCI I PRZESTRODZE!
