Daily supplies
The end of the fun - we have to get to work so that there is NO GREAT FLOP.
Today, the last "maneuvers" with furniture and then we move to the next stage: work on logistics in the kitchen and bar.
So, how much of what and when to buy; how to predict everything and not waste good food!
Not everything can be deep frozen.
And cooking on a regular basis on the order is out of the question, until possible employment of some help in the kitchen.
And this may not happen ...
The bar is a little easier, because we will gladly manage to use unfulfilled orders such as "smoothies" ourselves.
Today we put up an dvertising banner on Lim’s tuk-tuk. For a monthly fee of USD 10, Lim will make us known throughout Kampot and the area ...
It’s just a joke sine there are over 300 vehicles like that and almost everyone announces something, so the chances that "our" tuk-tuk will make us noticed, are slim. And a 300 x 10 monthly payment is out of the question!
Lim’s mum has a stall in the market and we agreed that she would make daily shopping (the list would e delivered by Lim) and send it on a motorbike to us around 8:00 in the morning.
I will save some time and energy at the beginning of the day. This service will cost depending on the shopping volume from 1.5 to 3.0 USD.
I had to come up with a way of communication with Lim’s mum, so that there would be no distortions.
Thus, a pictorial list in colour was created. We have agreed the products, and then I will be marking the daily needs on a black and white copy.
Clever, isn’I it?
So, now I'm getting away from the computer and getting into physical work ...
In scorching heat…
