Crabd on the market - is it OK?
Almost everyone who comes to Kep begins his stay with a visit to the crab market.
In addition to the sellers of these animals and other "fruits" of the sea there are many restaurants, where you can satisfy your palate and culinary taste.
We also did it and tasted the meat and the infamous baby octopuses ...
We enjoyed everything, but the moral conflict remains!
Over-fishing crabs is becoming more and more controversial in Cambodia:
Excessive catches decimate stocks and contribute to the destruction of nearby coral reefs and seagrass bedding.
Many renowned hotel restaurants in Kep decided not to serve crabs. Instead, they offer excellent fish and other seafood.
It is worth considering whether veganism would not be a way out of the situation !!
