Just arrived in Phnom Penh
Burnt with the sunshine, wipped by the wind (on the upper deck) and lightly cooked (inside the boat cabin), hungry, we got to the hotel which welcomed us with an inscription in some odd English (see photo).
Hoping that we do not belong to the lot, we found our rooms and went for a well deserved late lunch.
Today there are several views of the city, some of them from the roof of one of the department stores - in a very Chinese style.
Hundreds of cranes dominate over the city testifying to the mass construction of high-rise buildings – the Chinese (!) investments.
