A night market in Mandalay
After a short rest we went out to see the night market in one of the main streets.
A shock at first: We could hardly breathe such polluted air! It bit the throat and made the eyes cry. We could not focus the cameras. The reason being: It is the fifth month of the dry season.
The market offers stuff exclusively for the locals with one typical Burmese feature: they trade used books here. The nation reads!
Another feature is eating in large groups at a round red burning grill.
We quickly go back to the sky bar of our hotel for a bear to rinse our sore throats.
