HaCarmel Bazaar
Shopping at HaCarmel Bazaar is an attraction for itself and an opportunity to compare how the Arabs, Jews, Christians, and the non-religious sell their goods working next to each other. It's a good question who to buy from to get a better price...
We admired the ability of a bread seller who, instead of giving the change back to us (a substantial amount), put additional rolls, bagels and breads into a plastic bag, and with a smile handed it to us ...
And those bagels were simply delicous...
And the prices are just shocking! Everything is 100% more expensive than back home.
Note:a beer in a pub is 8 euros for 0.4 l; a drink in a nightclub - 12 euros! (A Moses tax?)
