6. Phnom Pehn is getting ready for the funeral
The country has its events and is not paying any attention to tourists, Especially to those who have come here for the first time and maybe the last one. So, we are not going to visit the Royal Palace since the praparation for the funeral - a public cremation are on.
The funeral is in the air, but the city life carries on its usual way of life: the bazaars are full of vendors and customers, the streets are full of motorbikes, cars, tuk-tuks, rickshaws and all kinds of vehicles, and the cafes and bars are full of people. Everybody seems to be very busy with something. Just us seem to be redundant, for tourists are not needed today.
We couldn't help not to take again photos of a regular market. The unusual thing about it is, however, that it is situated merely a 100 metres from the Mekong boulevard where one wouldn't expect such a "triviality".
