Good-bye to New York

We are at the JFK airport in NY waiting for our flight to London.

We would like to thank everyone who have been with us during our trip and supported us with their thoughts. Thanks to you we haven't felt that far away from home and missed our country little less. 

The technology helped us a lot and we are (especially me) still fascinated with the possibilities of human communication it provides. An uimportant thing is that our country is less and less behind the developed West.

We attached good-bye photos from New York. Not only does he city never sleeps but it never bores and always has something new to offer. This sounds like a cliche, but we confirm it with our experience! 

The photos of the APPLE store, on Fifth Avenue with 59th street (Central Park), only partially, show what modern selling looks like. It's like a library and a reading room in one, which you leave with purchases. The store has a huge underground surface to which people enter through a glass entrance.

America is crazy about Apple products, and the young use only iPhones

Ourselves, young as well, have purchased some of those toys as well.

"The Book of Mormon" turned out to be a very funny musical about a group of young Mormons during their compulsory mission to a village in Uganda where they try to convert its inhabitants. It's  quite a sharp satire of many American stereotypes told by a very spicy language. (The Americans react with laughter every time they hear in the theatre words begining with F)  Spontaneous  singing, dancing and acting by 10 white and 10 black actors was awarded with a very long standing ovation. Very deservedly.
