HALA "KOSZYKI"

After a walk on a windy winter morning, we decide to have lunch at “Koszyki”.

“A new, fantastic place on the map of Warsaw was created in the autumn of 2016. Hala Koszyki, which existed in the years 1906-1908, also known as the People’s Bazaar, came back to life just a few months ago.

The beautiful, historic Warsaw buildings, revitalized since 2012, have returned to their former glory. Hala Koszyki has once again begun to bustle with life.

It is currently a great place for social and culinary meetings. The three-level, huge space houses several fantastic restaurants, the largest bar in Poland, shops with various food products, Bazaar Koszyki, a salon with original home accessories and many other places where you can not only eat well, but also spend time in great company.”

Many tourists hid here from the cold at the right time for a bite to eat. We ate Indian vegetarian curry and drank Czech beer. Thus, three cultures met: Indian, Polish and Czech.

The meal gave us energy for the second part of the day.
