Text from the play's advertisement:
"A wonderful theatrical adaptation based on the famous book TIMES SECONDHAND by Svetlana Alexievich, Nobel Prize winner, outstanding Belarusian writer, critical of Lukashenka's rule.
The adaptation, with many comparisons or references to Chekhov's plays, tries to once again understand the soul of homo sovieticus and place it in the New Russia. Shocking and difficult to understand."
A moving performance that all Polish youth should see, because for them both the Soviet Union and Russia after perestroika are such a distant history that it is impossible to connect it with Putin's Russia!
And yet!
Russia is not changing, and Russians do not show a desire to connect with the civilized world.
Russian music, literature and other elements of culture will not replace humanity in ordinary citizens!!
