Before the sun set
From our hotel at “Maria’s Place) to the tourist center it’s a 10-minute walk.
These are the symbols ot our hotel:
The doneky is a piece of art - still nature, The cats are real and omnipresent.
As you move (!) north, where you watch the famous sunset – the streets get narrower and more crowded.
It’s 7:00 p.m., some of the tourists have left on their ferries after spending a few hours on the island.
It’s still crowded, which means that many sunset lovers will be leaving after 9:30 p.m.
We’re going back return after 9:30 p.m. and the streets of Oia (pronounced: Eeia) are not crowded, but they are not empty, either
So we refute the Instagram news and state that tourist life on the island flourishes until late. Note that it is now the absolute peak of the season!
Now a few photos of the walk before sunset.
